Setting a password on HTC C7/K7_9p017 phone can be completed by the six steps below.
Step 1: Open Settings.
FYI, you can find it in Apps.
Step 2: Locate and click Security.
Step 3: Tap Screen lock to move on.
Step 4: Select Password.
Step 5: Set a code and click Continue when done.
Incidentally speaking, the code must be at least 4 characters, with at least 1 letter.
Step 6: Re-type the password and tap OK to confirm it.
